competitive benefits program. Here is a summary of the benefit programs for most regular salaried employees.
Medical Care Plan
The medical care plan provides extensive hospital and medical benefits for employees
and their eligible dependents. Your coverage begins on the first day of the
month following thirty days of employment with Bay Technology Group paying a
portion of the premiums. This plan offers comprehensive medical coverage and a network of preferred providers.
Dental Care Plan
Dental insurance is designed to provide coverage for diagnostic and preventive services, such as
routine examinations, cleanings, and x-rays; basic services such as emergency
treatment and fillings; endodontics and periodontics such as disease treatment;
and major services such as bridges and crowns. Your coverage begins of the first
day of the month following thirty days of employment. This service is provided
at no additional cost to employees - BTG covers the premium for this benefit.
Life Insurance Plan
Your no-cost coverage begins on the first day of the month following thirty days of
employment. Included in this coverage is Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and Dependent Life.
Disability Benefits Plan
In summary, benefits are paid when you are disabled by an accidental injury or illness, and you are
under the care of a medical provider. Coverage is effective the first day of the
month following thirty days of employment with Bay Technology Group paying the
premium for this benefit.
Paid Time Off
Eligible employees are encouraged to take paid time off each year, as it promotes rejuvenation and a positive work
environment. Vacation Time is accrued so employees have the opportunity to earn
up to 4 weeks vacation annually. 80 hours of this time is paid vacation and 80
hours of this is unpaid - overtime bank.
Holidays
The number of paid holidays offered by Bay Technology Group is highly competitive in the industry. The eight paid
holidays per year include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays.
Continued Education
In efforts to encourage employees to increase their knowledge and skill, we offer continuing education
assistance. This is supported by offering tuition assistance to approved
programs and workshops. Bay Technology Group also provides technical and
professional training.
